Mandy Siegel.
She’s worn the crown, worked the stages, toured internationally and knows exactly what it takes to command a room. Now she’s here to celebrate the kings!
With over 30 years in live performance and entertainment, Mandy Siegel is a singer, performer and drag king whose alter ego, Muthafucka MC, has entertained audiences across Australia and internationally.
In 2001, Mandy was crowned King Victoria Drag King of the Year. As a member and co-producer with Bumpy Favell of King Victoria Drag Kings, she has championed bold characters, fearless self-expression and a whole lot of attitude.
Her performance credits include Big Day Out music festivals, Melbourne and Adelaide Fringe Festivals, Sydney WorldPride 2023, and touring the USA and Canada as Muthafucka MC alongside drag king legend Mo B. Dick. Her original music has received airplay on triple j, and she has also judged the Sydney WorldPride Drag King Competition.
Mandy brings the beats and attitude to the stage with her original live rapping and beatboxing, blending rhythm, vocal skill and raw performance energy into a sound that’s all her own.
Today, Mandy combines her performance experience with her work as a speaker, vocal coach and life coach, helping women break through self-doubt, find their authentic voice, communicate confidently and take up space unapologetically.
As a judge for Australian Drag King of the Year, Mandy brings a performer’s eye and a deep appreciation for the creativity, courage and individuality of drag. She knows the magic happens when artistry meets presence and a performer dares to take risks, command attention and make an audience feel something. For Mandy, great drag is about more than the look. It’s character, craft, conviction, connection and that indefinable je ne sais quoi that makes a performer impossible to ignore.
Bring on the charisma, the craft, the courage and the chaos. Let’s hear it for the kings!
