Inviting ALL GLBTIQ “hands on” therapists in the greater Melbourne area to connect with each other and with our community.
Yes, if you are a Massage Therapist, Bowen Therapist, Myotherapist, Osteopath, Physiotherapist, Shiatsu Practitioner or something along these lines, this invitation is for you.
Step 1: Get on the website
Cost to be on it is $0.
Any "hands on" therapist who identifies with LGBTIQ community is welcome to send in a head shot and link to their website/contact details. Clients will need to check with each therapist as to their formal qualifications and appropriate professional association membership.
Step 2: Join us at Midsumma
Stall is booked for Carnival – 12 Jan. Join us and volunteer your services providing free 10 min mini-treatments to our community members. Everyone who participates is encouraged to hand out their own business cards. A minimum of a 2 hour time commitment is required.
Sports Day – 1 Feb. Join us and volunteer your services providing mini-treatments for the sporty members of our community. Everyone who participates is encouraged to make connections and hand out business cards. A minimum of 2 hours is required. Cost is a contribution towards cost of stall and signage – approx $50 pp (if you've already contributed $ to participate in Carnival, NO further contribution is required)
Step 3: Join our Community of Practice
Attend quarterly events and meet other GLBTIQ "hands on" therapists to share our skills through short (15 min) presentations and hands on demonstrations.
