Everyone knows JOY 94.9 loves to pop and dance music, but if you listen in on the evenings and weekends you’d also discover there are many more genres being showcased across the wide range of specialty shows including jazz, country, blues, rock and more.

To celebrate JOY’s diverse audience and their love of live music (as witnessed at the first Joy Rocks Live in February), JOY 94.9 is teaming up with Rude Bookings for another fantastic live music fundraiser on Friday, April 27, 2012, from 7 pm at the Prague, 811 High Street, Thornbury.

Featuring Melbourne’s dark and devilish Rich Davies, upcoming Sydney singer-songwriter Bridie O’Brien, folk/soul superstar in the making Eran James, and the rockin’ and rollin’ William Street Strikers all the way from South Australia. That’s four awesome performers for one fantastic JOY fundraiser! Everyone is welcome and encouraged to come along to support Aussie music and great lesbian and gay community radio.
