Spring is in the air, which only means one thing – Midsumma is coming up!

Expressions of interest for venue hire at Gasworks Arts Park for the 2012 Midsumma Festival is now open. Performers are invited for shared usage of the spaces for short performances at rates affordable for budding performers. Gasworks Arts Park has a high profile in non-traditional, culturally diverse and special interest audience performances.

A long term supporter of the Midsumma Festival, Gasworks offers a multi-faceted venue that boasts four hectares of park, two theatres, three gallery spaces, a café, resident artists’ studios, as well as function and workshop spaces. During Midsumma 2012 the Gasworks bar will also be open to keep audiences entertained.
