The Women’s Library in Newtown is a non-profit organisation providing books, resources, and a gathering space for women. This Saturday, The Women’s Library are hosting a homegrown literary afternoon tea for women.

WHY?

To create a fun social event that gives voice to local literary talent

Do you have your own poem or prose?
Can you read it to the group?
or is there someone who could do this for you?
Maybe there is someone else’s poem or prose you could present/perform?

STRUCTURE:

1 piece per person; 5-minute time limit
(longer if we are really enjoying it!)

Preference is given to those presenting original work
AND those dressing up for the occasion!
