Everything I Know About The Global Financial Crisis In One HourThe highly talented performance group Post return to the stage in one of their silliest, funniest shows about the financial meltdown.

Post are renowned for their edgy productions such as Oedipus Schmoedipus, which the Sydney Morning Herald described as “ Sydney Festival’s most divisive, confronting and violent show”.

They also have educated audiences with their “expert” knowledge on theatre as part of the TEDx Sydney talks. Post return to the stage to reprise their stupid musings in a laid back, parody lecture on the state of the economy.

“Everything I Know About the Global Financial Crisis” is one of Post’s silliest, funniest shows to date. They were recently asked to do a show about the world’s financial meltdown.  Not only are they not experts in the subject, their research only extended so far as to realise that GFC sounded a lot like KFC. That aside however, the acclaimed Australian performance group are committed to finding the answers as to why the time of prosperity came crashing to a halt.

For the uninitiated, Post are a feminist performance trio who make work that is often political, and crosses a range of forms (theatre/performance art/installation/stand up comedy) to become truly genre queer. The highly talented performance group features Zoe Coombs Marr (ABC2’s Dirty Laundry Live), Nat Rose (FUNPARK, Sydney Festival) and Mish Grigor (Man-O-Man, FOLA). They are headed to the UK on tour in 2014, but before they leave, they are doing two special shows to warm them up for the Brits.
