Sonoma hosts a Gay Wine Weekend.

On June 13, Sonoma Valley Visitors Bureau and Out in the Vineyard will host the 2014 Gay Wine Weekend in Sonoma Valley, California. Out in the Vineyard is an experiential Wine Country event and travel company promoting positive LGBT lifestyles and offering upmarket itineraries and events for discerning LGBT travellers and their friends.

If you enjoy the beauty of nature and fine wine, this is your chance to celebrate Pride with world-class wine and gourmet food during a three-day LGBT event that will benefit Face to Face, Sonoma County HIV/AIDS Network.

Kick of the weekend on Friday, June 13 with the crème de la crème at La Crema, the VIP welcome reception at the MacArthur Place Hotel. Also, at Sonoma Plaza, there will be a wine tasting at the tasting rooms of Vine Alley.

This will put you in a well-lubricated mood for Wine and Dine OUT in Sonoma, the winemaker dinners featuring fare from Sonoma Valley’s acclaimed chefs and winemakers of La Crema and the girl & the fig, Muscardini and The Generals Daughter, Sebastiani and Saddles Steakhouse, Envolve Winery and Glen Ellen Star.

Saturday features winery tours and a lunch, which showcases the best of Sonoma Valley, Russian Valley and Dry Creek Valleys. At twilight is a T dance with music and dancing at Raymond Vineyards in Napa Valley.

Relax on Sunday with a gay wine auction and recovery brunch at MacArthur Place Hotel and Spa–100% of the money raised will benefit Face to Face. And finally, chill out at the Sunday Pool Soiree at MacArthur Place.

What a delicious and civilized way to celebrate Pride. Bottoms up!
