The Gold Coast’s first ever LGBTIQAP+ celebration!

Glitter Festival is the Gold Coast’s first ever celebration of LGBTIQAP+ community. Undertaken and proudly presented by The Arts Centre Gold Coast with the blessing of the City and the Mayor, Glitter Festival is an inclusive event that aims to bring the community together through the medium of art and culture.

From 28 September until 5 October this year, the Arts Centre doors will be flung open to welcome the entire community in a celebration of music, cabaret, theatre, film and visual arts, plus a selection of signature special events. In an extremely varied and multi-layered schedule programmed in true festival style, there’s something for everyone.

Comedy lovers will fall in love with Australia’s ‘Acid Tongue Prince’, Joel Creasey. His intelligent observations, acerbic style, pop-culture expertise and unrivaled story-telling abilities have him winning audiences both here and overseas.
