Susan Quinn, a former student of the St. Wilfred’s all-girl school, and now a professor at the same, takes a group of students on a ski trip to the French Alps. When they arrive at Club Ski, they meet their guide Jenna James, a former classmate of Susan.

Even though they weren’t friends in school, they start to connect in a way they never thought imaginable. In just a few days their bond grows and so does their attraction for each other. Susan tries to convince everyone that she’s straight, but the only person she’s trying to convince is herself. Could they appreciate each other for who they are now? Or will the people who they once were come between them?

This book is full of humour, great characters, and a story that will have you guessing until the end. The main characters of Jenna and Susan were very enjoyable. Jenna being the confident lesbian that had a different girl every night and Susan being the insecure woman who discovers that she is attracted to women. Jenna finds in Susan something she never thought she would find again, love.

And what about the supporting characters? We have Marcus, a very annoying man who is in lust with Susan. He tries to impress her any chance he gets as well as bringing her self-esteem down, making her feel small with words. Then we have Amber, another Club Ski guide who is a friend of Jenna and happens to be obsessed with her. She will go out of her way to make Susan doubt of Jenna’s love for her. Besides these two characters, we also have Susan’s students: Champagne, Priggy, and Daisy, who will put their grain of sand in the evolving story of Jenna and Susan.

This is not the first book I have read from this author and I knew this story was going to leave me wanting for more. The good thing about Kiki Archer is that she never disappoints. This book will have a sequel coming on 2014 and I must say, I can’t wait to read what happens next.
