Don’t miss Marrickville’s Music School Vocal Variety Open Day.

People of all ages are invited to the first ever Vocal Variety Open Day at Marrickville’s leading music school All Age Music.

Jam packed with singing fun, the Open Day will showcase four mini singing lesson workshops in rock/pop, classical/opera, musical theatre and soul/RnB. These mini lessons will allow parents, kids and adult vocal enthusiast to experience the various styles of singing.

Each group will run for 40 minutes and is designed to teach participants the unique vocal techniques that give people the ability to sing in that particular style.

All Ages Music believes each voice is unique and this event will help discover the different capabilities. Singing also brings a number of social and health benefits to adults who may be stressed with work, leading busy lives and needing a new hobby that adds value to their life.

Principal and Founder of All Age Music, Sandra Lie, says, “If you’ve ever thought about what you can gain from singing lessons, then don’t miss this event. It’s the perfect way for both kids and adults to better understand the magic of the voice and its creative potential.”

For those interested in classical or opera, Jessica Westcott from Opera Australia will demonstrate and teach what it takes to get that almighty sound.

Georgina Walker and Blake Condon will run a workshop exploring musical theatre for those aspiring for Broadway.

Want to be the next rockstar? Eleni Kokkinos can help in the rock/pop workshop while Natalie Jomaa explores the sound of soul and R’n’B.

There is also the chance to win a month of singing lessons for everyone who attends the Vocal Variety Open Day.
