STAN REVEALS OFFICIAL TRAILER FOR NEW SERIES THE L WORD: GENERATION Q

Premiering exclusively on Stan on Monday, 9 December, the sequel to the groundbreaking drama series The L Word continues to follow the intermingled lives of Bette Porter (Jennifer Beals), Alice Pieszecki (Leisha Hailey) and Shane McCutcheon (Katherine Moennig)

Along with new characters Dani Nùñez (Arienne Mandi), Micah Lee (Leo Sheng), Finley (Jacqueline Toboni), Sophie Suarez (Rosanny Zayas) and Gigi (Sepideh Moafi) as they experience love, heartbreak, sex, setbacks and success in L.A.

The L Word first burst onto our TV screens 15 years ago in a series that gave queer women and their lives the spotlight instead of being merely a side plot. Running for 71 episodes over six seasons between 2004 and 2009, the show gathered fans far and wide, and now a new generation is on the scene with the original characters along for the ride

The L Word: Generation Q is currently in production on eight episodes in Los Angeles. Guest stars include Brian Michael, Stephanie Allyne, Olivia Thirlby, Fortune Feimster and Latarsha Rose. The series is executive produced by showrunner Marja-Lewis Ryan (The Four-Faced Liar, 6 Balloons), with series creator Ilene Chaiken, Kristen Campo, Steph Green (pilot), and original series stars Jennifer Beals, Katherine Moennig and Leisha Hailey.

The L Word: Generation Q premieres 9 December, only on Stan, same day as US. All episodes of The L Word seasons 1-6 are available to stream now on Stan.
