There’s the moment every Sleaze where the music stops, the lights go down, and all eyes turn to the stage.

There’s the moment every Sleaze where the music stops, the lights go down,
and all eyes turn to the stage. The buzz is electric as a figure emerges,
flanked by lavishly dressed dancers and beaming with anticipation…

It’s more than a performance, this is your diva moment and at Sleaze 2010 we’re giving
you not one but two massive singers, as Zoe Badwi and Mary Kiani join our
decadent line-up!

sleaze_Zoe_BadwiThese are two women you know will blow your mind. Joining our stellar lineup
of Sydney’s best DJs and performers, Zoe Badwi (left) and Mary Kiani (below, right) are two of our favourite performers and they’re set to deliver massive shows at Sleaze. As Sleaze has returned to a multi-venue party, they could appear
anytime throughout the night in The Forum or Dome for shows that will be the
highlight of your night.

Zoe Badwi is currently one of the biggest and most-loved names working in
the Australian dance scene. She’s modeled and acted but found her passion,
and international fame, in a singing career. No doubt you’ve gone wild on the
dance floor to her first single “Release Me”, which topped the ARIA Club
charts for seven weeks in 2009 and was co-produced with TV Rock.
As a result she’s toured London, Europe and China, as well as playing parties
throughout Sydney that have made her a scene favourite. Earning herself an ARIA nomination for Best Dance release in 2009, her latest single “Freefallin’” has just landed and it’s already topping the club charts with its infectious hooks and irresistible vocals.

Zoe is thrilled to take the stage at Sleaze, and is excited to perform in front ofsleaze_mary
Sydney’s sexiest partygoers, saying “Get ready Sleaze, we’re going to have
the night of our lives!”

Mary Kiani is one of the best known and most loved divas in Sydney, with Top
40 hits and a massive following around the world. She’s performed huge
shows everywhere from Top of the Pops alongside Debbie Harry and
Aerosmith, to the 30th Anniversary Mardi Gras Party! Mary has worked with
artists such as Bimbo Jones, Nightcrawlers and Paul Oakenfold while gaining
8 national Top 40 hits with her band “The Time Frequency”.

Mary makes her Sleaze debut in a stunning show this Saturday 2nd October,
performing songs from her long list of club anthems. From her sublime debut
“When I Call Your Name” to her massive hit “I Imagine”, Mary’s dance
classics continue to fill dance floors across the globe. There’s a reason she’s
one of the most loved celebrities in the gay scene – she’s simply one of the
best.

“My first ever Ball in Sydney was Sleaze 13 years ago, and yes I did have a
ball!” said Mary Kiani. “That was on the dance-floor but now… wow! I’m so
excited to come and sing at this year’s Sleaze Ball. What to sing? What to
wear? Can’t wait!”

Mary Kiani and Zoe Badwi join a line-up including Dan Murphy, Eddie Coulter,
Sveta, Kate Monroe, Beth Yen, Baby Bear, Adam Love and Beatrix.
Performances throughout the night include everything from drag queens and
kings, to pole-dancing, burlesque and the sexiest dancers you’ve seen. Come
and get decadent this year at Sleaze.

Sleaze is Saturday 2nd October 2010 at the Entertainment Quarter. Tickets
start from $59 and are available from Moshtix.
