Nike has snapped up WNBA player Brittney Griner. The openely gay former has signed an endorsement deal with Nike.  She only recently came out in an interview with Sports Illustrated.

Last June,Nike hosted its first-ever lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) sports summit in Oregon, USA.

On her decsion to come out Griner stated "It wasn't too difficult, I wouldn't say I was hiding or anything like that. I've always been open about who I am and my sexuality."
