Just released - the adorable wedding photo!
"Sex and the City" star Cynthia Nixon, 46, wed her longterm partner Christine Marinoni, 45, in a ceremony in New York City over the weekend. The actress wore a Carolina Herrera dress that matched Marinoni's tie. The newlyweds released their wedding photo to the hungry masses early Tuesday.
The couple have been together for 8 years and became engaged in 2009, but were waiting for the state of New York to legalize gay marriage before exchanging nuptials.
Gay girls in the know will remember that Nixon is recently out, and ended her 15-year relationship with ex Danny Mozes in 2003. She announced her relationship with Marinoni in 2004.
Marioni gave birth to the couple's son, Max Ellington Nixon-Marinoni, 15 months, last year. The couple also has shared custody of Nixon's children with Mozes, daughter Samantha, 16, and son Charles, 10.
Nixon has most recently performed on the stage in "Wit." Her acclaimed performance of a cancer patient has been nominated for a Tony Award for best actress.
