Applications for Aurora’s small grants funding now open

LGBT community groups are encouraged to apply for Aurora's small grants funding.

The Aurora Group is encouraging eligible community organisations to apply its 2012 Small Grants of up to $5,000 each. Up to $40,000 in small grants will be awarded to successful community organisations.

Applications for Aurora’s small grants funding for 2011-2012 are now open and close at 5pm on Friday 19 October 2012.

Last year’s recipients included JoyFm program “The Commitment Project”; The Gender Centre program “Transtopia”; The Benevolent Society program “Fostering Young Lives”; Regional Youth Support Service – GenQ; Queerscreen program “The Queer Screen Community Screen Content Initiative”; and ACON Health - Lesbian & Gay Anti Violence Project

Interested community members can support Aurora by joining Aurora’s regular giving program or making a once off donation at www.auroragroup.com.au. All donations over $2 are tax deductible, and 100% of which goes to the charities and projects that Aurora supports
