Don't miss another packed week in the Radio Diva studio!

Published:

Radio DIVA has some very special guests this week.

Sophie Walker, leader of the Women's Equality Party, and best-selling author Kiki Archer will be joining hosts Rosie Wilby and Heather Peace in the Resonance FM studio.

When asked about appearing on Radio DIVA, Sophie Walker said: "I look forward to talking to DIVA radio's listeners about what the Women's Equality Party stands for: diversity, intersectionality, and freedom from inequalities.

"Our party was co-founded by Sandi Toksvig, who had to go into hiding when she came out as gay 20 years ago. She understands more than anyone how far we've come in creating an equal society - and how far we still have to go. I'm excited about talking to Radio DIVA listeners about what our new collaborative politics can do for the LGBT+ community."

Also appearing on the show is Kiki Archer. Her debut novel, But She Is My Student, won the UK's 2012 SoSoGay Best Book Award. Subsequent novels have won awards from National Indie Excellence Award for best LGBTQ book to the Best Independent Author and Best Book at the 2015 Lesbian Oscars, for Too Late… I Love You. Instigations reached the top of the Amazon lesbian fiction chart only 12 hours after its release. She'll be talking about her new book Lost in Starlight, which is out now.

And that's not all. "Lesbro" Jonathan Phang will be reading this week's news headlines, Heather Peace brings us another DIVA Discovers and Rachel Shelley reports from the incredibly successful European Diversity Awards, which took place last week at the Natural History Museum.
