All Girl Friday

This special night at Queer Screen Film Fest is presented by LOTL.

Published:

The 2016 Queer Screen Film Fest has a multitude of films to offer for everyone. This year, Queer Screen is adding a special evening dedicated to films about and by women!

Taking place on Friday September 23 and Presented by LOTL, All Girl Friday will begin with Southwest Of Salem: The Story of the San Antonio Four. This riveting and at times shocking documentary recounts the unbelievable travesty of justice which saw four Latina lesbians wrongly convicted of gang rape.

Following the documentary is the first sold out film of the festival Almost Adults at 8:30PM. This charming comedy tells the story of two BFFs and what happens when one decides she prefers girls to guys.

There will also be a special event at the Set Bar at Event Cinemas George Street.  Heaps Gay has invited DJ Amanda Louise to do her thing from 6PM - 8:15PM and Red Raw will feature music by DJ Bunny Hill from 8:30PM - 10:45PM.

This night is devoted to girls, but it isn’t exclusive—it’s for absolutely anyone who thinks women are fabulous!
