On a hot Summer’s night in the Gulf of Mexico, a small fishing boat floats down the Alabama Delta in search of redfish. Deeply entangled in the throes of love; Kendra and Betty find themselves caught in dangerous territory, as they are forced to examine the waters that divide them.

Starring Puberty Blues’ Brenna Harding, and PLANS' Diana Popovska, The Gulf is a playful, loving and achingly truthful look at a lesbian relationship.

“The Gulf is a story about two people exploring what it means to be in love," said director Mia Lethbridge. "[It] puts women at the centre, whilst destigmatising same-sex relationships. I am beyond excited to be bringing this important piece of theatre to life."

The Gulf opens at FLOW Warehouse on August 24th, and will run until September 5th.
