Kristen Stewart And Stella Maxwell Make Out
Plus lesbian sex tape drama!
Kristen Stewart has a movie to promote so she’s been very busy this week.
We’re going to need like three full paragraphs to get through the vast amount of Kristen Stewart updates. If you don’t care about Kristen Stewart, please skip ahead. I hope you care because I spent like an hour researching about Kristen Stewart so you don’t have to.
First and foremost (but also least most in that this is fluff), Kristen Stewart and Stella Maxwell were photographed making out in Milan.
Why am I not making out with a supermodel in Milan? Why does my life pale in comparison to those I write about?
Next: Kristen Stewart not so fondly remembers when Donald Trump was obsessed with her
Remember when Kristen Stewart was dating Robert Pattinson? Then allegedly cheated on him with a married Director? Dark times. After the scandal broke in 2012, Trump tweeted “Robert Pattinson should not take back Kristen Stewart. She cheated on him like a dog & will do it again--just watch. He can do much better!”
At Variety’s Sundance Studio, Stewart recalled Trump’s public vitriol. ““He was mad at me a couple years ago, really obsessed with me a couple years ago, which is f—ing crazy. I can’t even understand it. I literally cannot even understand it. It’s such far-out concept that I don’t want to believe that actually is happening. It’s insane... At that point, he was just, like, a reality star. I had no reference. It wasn’t like really a thing. But in retrospect, somebody reminded me of that and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, you’re right!” Later, Stewart joked “He’s probably, like, going to tweet about this.”
Finally, Kristen Stewart did an in depth interview with Refinery29
The interview focused on Come Swim, a short film that Stewart wrote and directed. Come Swim debuted at Sundance last week and marks Stewart’s directorial debut. According to Refinery29:
“The short focuses on one man's day, alternating between abstract, artistic representations of his broken heart (walls caving in, enormous waves collapsing on top of him) and alarmingly realistic scenes showing him in a cubicle, attempting to get through the workday. All throughout the movie, we hear remnants of past conversations between our hero (Josh Kaye) and his ex, seemingly unimportant exchanges about swimming and water.”
So a strong marine theme there.
Kristen described Come Swim as “Full-frontal heartbreak.” After reading the interview, Come Swim sounds like a pained post-breakup analysis but in a pool. Been there!
Oh thank God we’re done with Kristen Stewart. Moving on!

A straight male film student made a shitty short film about lesbians because he is *such*an*ally*
God, I hate this crap. Screw straight people who reappropriate gay struggles to seem different. Screw terribly derivative, utterly cliche films by straight people about unhappy lesbians. Get this: the lesbian character is desperate for love because she doesn’t love herself. GROUNDBREAKING. This is crap but I’m sure the straight male film student’s straight male teacher will eat it up.

Straight Outta Nigeria there is some weird, sad lesbian sex tape drama.
Image by Chidinma Okeke/Instagram, now private.
In October 2016, a sex tape leaked of Nigerian Beauty Queen Chidinma Okeke and her girlfriend/fellow beauty queen Adaobi Nzekwe. The explicit tape was a major scandal in Nigeria (where homosexuality is illegal) and abroad. Chidinma Okeke was blackmailed over the sex tape and feared for her life after it leaked. The video was made by a third person, whose identity was never revealed. Until this week, when Nigerian news outlets reported that Jane Emoka, a former student Nnamdi Azikiwe University, not only made the tape but persuaded Chidinma Okeke and Adaobi Nzekwe to make the tape. The revelation came from a lawyer who allegedly has inside knowledge of how the tape was made, how it went public, and who posted it on the internet. This is all extremely shady.

Ruby Rose is glad she didn’t transition, wants babies
In lengthy interview with Net A Porter’s Magazine (fancy shopping sites get their own magazines now), Ruby Rose discussed childhood traumas and gender questioning. After being bullied and beaten for her sexuality and androgynous appearance, “she felt she had been born into the wrong body and longed to become a boy. Her heroes were all androgynous – David Bowie, Annie Lennox, Prince. But she doesn’t feel that way now. “I’m a woman,” she says. “I want to have babies one day, so I’m glad I didn’t make changes earlier in my life.” Check out the video to watch Ruby Rose and her girlfriend play with Tarot cards

High School shuts down play because of a lesbian character
A California High School called off a production of Sartre’s No Exit because it included a kiss between two women. Confirms my suspicion that High School teachers don’t actually read the books they assign.

A long-suffering lesbian deals with her sister’s newfound bisexuality
What if: you, a lesbian, had to deal with a homophobic family for years. You watched them ignore and disrespect your partner while fawning over your sister’s boyfriend. Then your sister, who has been very supportive and is still with her boyfriend, tells you that she is bisexual. Would you resent her? Mallory Ortberg (formerly of The Toast) is Slate’s Dear Prudence and queer, so her answer is excellent and highly accurate.
